2. What information do we collect?

a. When you place an order

If you wish to place an order via the Kitchen Economy website, you will be required to input the following information:

Delivery address
First name and surname
Email address
Telephone number
Billing address (if different to delivery address)
Delivery / collection preferences

You will also need to enter your card details if paying by credit or debit card.
All of this information is collected to help us fulfil orders and manage our accounts.

b. When you register a consumer account

Users have the option to register an account on the Kitchen Economy website. Please note that you can make purchases from our website without an account – simply select the Express Checkout option if you would prefer not to register an account.
If you choose to register a consumer account in order to speed up future purchases, you will be required to enter the following information:

First Name & Surname
Email Address
Phone Number (optional)

You will also need to choose a password for your account. Please remember to keep your password secret, as anyone who knows your password will potentially be able to access your account and view/edit your personal information.

The information we collect during the account registration process is used for account administration purposes, as well as for the fulfilment of any orders you place while logged in.

c. When you register a trade account

If you are purchasing Kitchen Economy products on behalf of a company, you may wish to register a trade account. This will make it easier to place repeat orders in future, but it is not a requirement.
Should you choose to create a trade account, you will be required to input the following information:

Email address
Company name and address
Main contact’s name and telephone number(s)
Accounts contact’s name and telephone number(s)

This information is recorded for account administration purposes, as well as for the fulfilment of any orders you place while logged in.

d. When you submit an enquiry

Users of this website can contact us using the enquiry form on our Contact page.
If you submit an enquiry via this form, we will collect the following information:

Your name
Your email address
Any other information you supply in the body of your message

This information is collected solely for the purpose of processing and responding to your enquiry.

e. While you browse our website

We do not collect any personally-identifiable information while you browse our website (unless you enter it yourself while placing an order, submitting an enquiry, or registering/managing your account).

Like many website owners, we use Google Analytics to anonymously monitor traffic and user behaviour on our website. This tool does not collect any personally-identifiable information; it only collects aggregated data (e.g. how many people visit our website, how many times each page is viewed).

If you do not wish to be included in our Analytics data, you can opt out using this browser add-on.

When you make a payment via the Kitchen Economy website, it is processed by Sage Pay (or PayPal if you select PayPal as your payment method).

When you place an order or register an account, you will be given the option to opt in to receive promotional materials. If you opt in, we may contact you using the details you provide to inform you of offers and other information that’s relevant to Kitchen Economy.
